Song Summary of "THE POWER OF BEEF":

-12-Gauge Kiss-From the first note on Shepherd Stevenson's bass 'til the last
slam of the song, this story of a race with the devil soars like a crazed
pterodactyl. Danny Carey flails relentlessly and it comes to one's mind
that he may eat his drums. Guitars abound and Fletcher's old school style
can be quite "charming". Mike Savage delivers, as usual, a convincing road
warrior saga worthy of a classic comic book. This is shiny new Pigmy's.
This is just the beginning. This is the Shit!

-Livin' Like Shit-Tellin' it like it is, is the Pigmy's forte' and this is no
exception. "I got twenty pound fists and balls made of steel---step around
to my yard, we'll see how they feel". He ain't talkin' 'bout playin' no
kissy-face. Banjos in a heavy rock song---You bet!

-Drug Run to Fontana-As Bob Minter in Iowa puts it: "Pigmy Love Circus takes
you for a dive into a pool of insanity and then smashes yer fucking head
into the bottom to make you atone for the sin of settling for a mediocre
life. If your neck isn't sore after "Drug Run to Fontana" then have a relative sign a DNR and have the doctor pull the fuckin' plug." Nuf said.

-Highway Man-The pigs play this one when they want to see blood in the pit.
Nothing fancy---Just tellin' the truth

-Swamp Creature-Another prime example of why Danny Carey is considered the
best drummer on the planet. Shepherd Stevenson is stone solid. Savage tells
his tale of a New Orleans Voodoo witch while Fletcher weaves and oozes
though the swamp like an extremely ugly snake. Brutal.

-Bad Luck-A lament of a love-gone south*Way south!

-Murderer-This toxic serenade exudes the manic state of a criminal mind. No
remorse---No regrets

-Pistolero Sleep-The sleeper rock anthem. A lonesome, mournful sax played by
Dale Carey introduces one of the most dynamic, flat-out rock songs in recent
memory. This band loves to groove and Pistolero is the ultimate vehicle.

-Bone Orchard-Get out your pickaxe and meat-grinders---We're gonna stomp us
some Zombies!

-Headless Horseman-Ichabod Crain's spooky legend set to a driving shuffle.

-Madhouse Clown-The quintessential crowd pleaser at Pigmy shows. A bombastic
voyage through the chaotic mind set of one bonafied nut case, Mike Savage,
with a rousing chorus (composed by Rand "Pig" Walters) that sounds like the
entire NFL belting out "Shenandoah" and "The Star Spangled Banner" at once.
Guaran-damn-teed to piss-off your neighbors and an absolute must for all
keggers and Bar mitzvahs. ....
