| I play a Les Paul and two Fernandes Ravelle Elitesthrough the ugliest 1971 100 watt Marshall known to man. I got a Vox and a Hiwatt Wah Wah and a little yellow box that makes things sorta fuzzy and a blue box that goes repeat-repeat-repeat and a little thing called a Milkshake when I want to make it sound as though it's spinning about under water. Bruce Springsteen must make a couple of them 'cause they have the word BOSS on them. I play a cheap Epiphone banjo and a couple of Takemine acoustic guitars. My favorite guitar players are Rory Gallagher from Ireland and a guy named Billy Ryan from Denver. They're both dead. I'll use any pick I can steal but I prefer Herco Flex 50's and for strings I use Everly Brothers on everything including my steel toe Jackboots. |

| I have a '68 fender p-bass which is sunburst though I painted it black in a drunken episode. I use a '70's Ampeg SVT with an 8-10 cabinet. It's the best there is, period. Bass goes straight into the amp. No extra bullshit needed. I have a cheap Ibanez practice bass that I got for $80 and a vintage Ampeg B-15 amp circa late '60's. Also at home I have a 1970 Les Paul goldtop and a 1966 Firebird 3 which I use to help write the tunes. And I have a pink piano too which you can view at http://www.cramer.org/art/pinkp.htm |
